La Liaison VOLUNTEER Opportunities

With your support , La Liaison PTO is able to provide our teachers and staff meals, gifts and other tokens of appreciation throughout the year from the Welcome Back breakfast to Thanksgiving lunch to Teacher Appreciation events. Whether you  contribute monetarily or by volunteering to help setup, decorate and/or clean up after events, your support helps us give back to our incredible teachers. 

Our Social and Fundraising chairs are hard at work organizing special events and fundraisers throughout the year. These events are only possible with the help of our parent volunteers. Check out the Events page for upcoming activities, come out and join the LFNO community.  

A Room Parent serves as a liaison between classroom parents and the PTO and as a liaison between the classroom parents and the teacher. Each teacher and classroom will have different needs but may include helping the teacher collect supplies for special projects and events, help chaperone or find volunteers for special activities, and coordinate volunteers for PTO events such as Carnaval Francais. It is a wonderful way to get to know the teachers in our school and connect with other parents! To learn more about room parents, check out  La Liaison Room Parents.

Building on our cherished Marché d’Hiver, Carnaval Français will inspire curious minds, celebrate our state’s rich french heritage, showcase the beauty and diversity of the francophone world, and solidify Lycée Français de la Nouvelle-Orléans as as Louisiana’s premier French school.

There are many ways for you to help with this exciting and important event! You can sell tickets, supervise a ride, run a game, craft a craft, paint faces, or do one of many other opportunities available to choose from.
